Crafting a Classic Royal Feel

May 2025

The objective was to design a brand that felt established and culturally rich without leaning on outdated restaurant tropes. To establish a classic royal feel that appeals instantly to the market, we anchored the visual identity in a warm reddish and orange palette. We then contrasted these warm tones with a deep, regal blue to create a highly striking, premium aesthetic.

Mascot & Typography Integration

We developed custom character mascots—welcoming figures that add a human, hospitable touch to the brand. Paired with a customized, slightly flared serif typography, the logo feels bespoke and grounded in tradition.

Scalable Brand Patterns

A logo isn't enough to carry a physical space. We designed an extensive library of geometric and floral tile patterns. These motifs serve as the foundational design grammar for the restaurant's interior spaces, menus, and digital presence, ensuring every touchpoint feels like part of the same physical world.

Designing for the Physical World

In F&B, the "user experience" happens at the table and in the hands of the customer. We mapped out how the brand translates into physical collateral. The business cards utilize the intricate tile patterns on the reverse side, turning a simple piece of paper into a memorable brand artifact.

Sub-Branding and Flexibility

A robust identity system needs to flex. We designed the architecture to seamlessly accommodate sub-brands or specific product lines—shifting the primary marque to "Haveli of Spice" for specific print materials and deliverables while maintaining absolute visual consistency.

End-to-End Tangible Deliverables

This project delivered a complete suite of production-ready assets focused entirely on the client's operational outcomes. Packaging: We designed premium sleeve packaging for takeout containers (Chicken Biryani, Mutton Korma), utilizing the brand patterns to elevate the off-premise dining experience. Apparel: The visual identity was extended to staff uniforms and aprons, ensuring that the brand’s warm, professional aesthetic is front-and-center during every customer interaction.
